Client Operations Analyst

Proskauer is seeking a Client Operations Analyst (“Analyst”) who will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (“KPIs”) associated with the Firm’s billing, collection, and compliance functions. The Analyst will work closely with the Client Operations team to support managing the Firm’s inventory and the continued development of our reporting/monitoring tools. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities and is detail oriented. This role will report to a Manager of Client Operations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly analyses and customized reporting for various stakeholder needs (e.g., Firm, department, timekeeper, client) using both existing and innovative approaches
• Participation in collaboration to promote new ideas and develop streamlined processes to enhance department efficiencies
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reports and processes
• Support management with the preparation of presentations for executive leadership
• Write SQL queries on an ad hoc basis in response to data-specific requests
• Work concurrently with the Manager of Client Operations to design reports that introduce efficient solutions to current business needs
• Collaborate with Information Services department and other development teams to improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of report deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; a focus in Accounting, Finance or Economics is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant financial analytical experience
• Sophisticated use of Excel (vertical lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
• Experience with SQL and Power BI desired
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommendsolutions
• Team player with capacity to work collaboratively with personnel across different functions and levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
