Job Description
The Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for processing requests with Moneta’s designated custodial vendors. This role will encompass working on existing service requests and details of process, as well as helping to build new processes to create maximum efficiencies. The Client Onboarding Specialist will manage the custodial processing and monitoring functions of the client relationship.
Essential Responsibilities
Maintaining new client onboarding requests from our client teams daily
Manage the account opening process for new clients including:
Completing applications and supplementary account forms
Reviewing supporting documentation
Resolving paperwork discrepancies
Tracking new account statuses and communicating updates to client teams
Initiates and tracks the Transfer of Assets (TOA) process associated with new accounts. Monitors assets as they are received by the custodian and follows up on any inconsistencies from statements audited against assets received.
Reviews new client onboarding workflows and updates as needed. Communicates updates to firm.
Maintains intranet as a source of information for teams.
Acts as the intermediary between client teams and custodian for issue resolution.
Communicates with the firm on updates to custodial requirements, regulatory impacts on process change, and modifications to processes and forms.
Qualifications
B.S. Business, Finance, or related field preferred
One year or more of relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce CRM and DocuSign preferred
