POSITION SUMMARY:

The Client Implementation Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, leads a team dedicated to the successful implementation of Benson's full suite of centralized marketing products and services. This pivotal role within Benson is instrumental in driving customer growth and managing the end-to-end client implementation process that establish long-term partnerships.

 In this capacity, you will lead the implementation process and ongoing refinement of key components essential to a high-performing marketing operations platform. These include implementation methodology, portfolio tracking, team resource optimization, and best practice playbooks. Additionally, you will contribute to Benson's ongoing growth within the multifamily industry.

As someone motivated by delivering exceptional customer experiences with a customer-centric mindset, you will maintain a sharp focus on driving excellence and efficiency. This entails meeting Benson's objectives for quality, timely delivery, and revenue generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Success Management

  • Manage the end-to-end client implementation process to foster long-term partnerships with Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions.
  • Assist with high-profile projects, corporate marketing campaigns, bulk orders, nationwide initiatives, business development needs, and product development.
  • Maintain objectives and key results, activities, milestones, and a strategy to continuously improve implementation processes.
  • Responsible for CRM and database management of current and future clients, including capturing billing information and client invoicing.
  • Create and manage project timelines, implementation forecasts, and team member capacity and bandwidth constraints.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in customer needs assessments, centralized marketing process mapping, problem-solving, and other methodologies to drive client outcomes.
  • Understand and be able to apply analytics to identify and drive revenue opportunities, prepare presentation documents, and conduct Business Review meetings with customers.
  • Participate in industry and/or customer conferences to serve the customer and better understand market changes, customer challenges, and trends.
  • Act as the contract administrator for the business development team.


Strategic Customer Relationship And Experience Management

  • Maintain and enhance customer experience by establishing key relationships at the corporate level and acting as the main point of contact during the onboarding process.
  • Conduct customer update meetings, identify customer needs, present solutions, and represent the Voice of the Customer (VOC) internally to Benson to achieve customer objectives.
  • Navigate customer-facing demands and internal challenges to facilitate the resolution of obstacles that could jeopardize customer relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Collaboration and Culture

  • Promote effective communication and align key performance indicators (KPIs) with Benson's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and consultants to support organizational structure and business needs.
  • Champion a culture of client success through ownership and accountability among all team members.
  • Foster strong, collaborative cross-functional and cross-departmental working relationships with other support teams (Customer Success, Art & Design, Technology Services, Apparel, Signs, etc.).
  • Work closely with Business Development to assist with opportunities, including RFP support, pricing exercises, store demos, outreach and prospecting emails, and market research.
  • Act as point of contact for concerns (internal and external) and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Utilize “The Benson Way” fundamentals to foster a supportive culture including promoting effective communication, teamwork, kindness, commitment, ownership, results-driven work, consistency, and customer-centricity.      


Team Support and Leadership

  • Cultivate a collaborative team environment through employee selection, onboarding, training, and performance management to develop and recognize talent.
  • Ensure the team has appropriate training and professional development opportunities.
  • Lead the onboarding team, providing coaching, mentoring, and 1:1 enablement to ensure adherence to departmental standards and delivery through established processes, high-quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and proficient collaboration across teams/departments.
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and growth opportunities for the Client Implementation Team.
  • Monitor staffing and capacity and provide recommendations as needed.
  • Utilize metrics and standards to drive team performance.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.


Work Experience:

  • Required, 3+ years’ experience in client implementation, business development, and/or relationship management or related roles.


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

  • Print experience and multifamily housing experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and database management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the marketing industry is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and customer-centric approach to business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intuitive nature with the ability to anticipate customer needs

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Sitting at a computer for long periods of time.
