Practical Information:

Location: United States | Work arrangement: Remote |Team Size: 9 | Reports to: Sales Director East| Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for US | Language Requirements: Fluent/professional English, written and verbal.


As the newly appointed Client Director - Public Sector at Crayon US, you will join our sales team and be responsible for acquiring new customers. You will also plan, build, and manage long-term relationships with key accounts and partners, collaborating with them to expand our market share. As a proactive sales hunter, your daily activities will involve substantial outbound contact and prospecting, where you will inspire both customers and prospects.


Other responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a unified sales strategy that aligns with Crayon's goals for cloud optimization and digital transformation in the public sector market
  • Create and implement a detailed multi-year customer plan, identifying new business opportunities that align with customer objectives
  • Utilize extensive RFP experience and bid expertise to navigate the complexities of government contracts, ensuring compliance and maximizing success rates
  • Leverage robust sales and business experience, specializing in software technologies, including Microsoft software, AWS, and device technology
  • Oversee the RFP and bid processes from identification and qualification to proposal development and submission, ensuring alignment with client needs and Crayon’s capabilities


Your Competencies:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT solution selling, with a focus on cloud solutions (primarily Azure), digital transformation, SAM, and the public sector
  • 2+ Experience in hunting, identifying, and qualifying leads for IT products and services
  • Demonstrated experience with professional services engagements and Microsoft licensing, along with a proven track record in infrastructure skills

  • You demonstrate strong business acumen and have an ability to acquire new business and cultivate meaningful relationships
