This is a provisional appointment.

Brief Job Description (essential Functions Of The Job)

Investigates and expedites public inquiry and/or complaints relative to outstanding parking violations, towed or impounded vehicles, ticket payments, and rights of appeal.

Responsibilities

  • Operates CTR terminal and microfiche viewer.
  • Completes appropriate departmental forms.
  • Compiles statistics and other material for reports.
  • Maintains files on departmental correspondence and records.
  • Performs related work as required.

Required to work any and all emergencies as directed by the Commissioner or designee.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications

  • Applicants must have two (2) years full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid office clerical experience.
  • Successfully completed secretarial and/or clerical courses above High School level may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
