Job Summary.
A Client Casualty Claim Consultant has a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in auto or general liability claim administration and skill in executing strategic claim management with an understanding of best practices in claim administration.
The Claim Consultant
Is organized to establish and follow-up on established action plans and diaries
Possesses interpersonal skills to engage claim adjusters in discussions of strategy, action planning and follow-through
Takes initiative to structure his/her work and complete assignments without daily supervision and raise issues to supervisor and project manager
Demonstrates problem-solving skills to identify pivotal issues and strategies to move a claim to resolution
Has familiarity with claim management strategies including the use of Medicare
Secondary Payer and non-submits and structured settlements
Is able to discern and compare through audit, actual claim performance against industry best practices
Is diligent in completing operational requirements such as timesheets, file documentation and timely responsiveness to emails and phone calls
The successful Client Casualty Claim Consultant is a self-starter, has a track record of timely and aggressive claim closures, works independently and with minimal supervision and achieves satisfaction through the strategic effort of bringing claims to resolution and assuring best practices are met.
