Civil Structural Engineer

Our client is an international forensics company and are seeking multiple Civil Structural Engineers in TX.

Job Responsibilities

• Investigates failures, damages, or defects in the civil/structural fields within residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyzes the building systems, determines the cause of failures, evaluates the quality of construction or reviews design or maintenance procedures.
• Performs field investigations
• Research and preparation of recommendations for repair and/or remediation.
• Prepares reports and other documentation for clients.
• Establishes trusted working relationship with clients and interacts socially at mixed engagements with clients.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline is required. An active PE is required in the state 5 - 8 years’ experience in design in combination of residential, commercial, and industrial setting preferred Ability to work in high areas such as roofs or scaffolding, requiring physical agility, balance, and resistance to acrophobia.

Work from home position, preferably located in Houston, Dallas and/or San Antonio.
