Civil Project Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Civil Engineering Project Manager must build relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
• Must lead and mentor a dynamic group of technical professionals - engineers and technicians.
• Responsible to prepare proposals and client agreements
• Must be responsible for coordination of project tasks, budgets, and schedules
• The Civil Engineering Project Manager must lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects
• Must participate in the development of company design and production standards and be open to new ideas/ plans.
• Partner with the higher officials to improvise and seek guidance on project management aspects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The Civil Engineering Project Manager must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil engineering
• Must hold a PMP certification.
• Must have held a Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the state of Texas for the last 5 years.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in residential development.
• The Civil Engineering Project Manager must be proficient in design and construction practices
• Must identify new opportunities with existing clients as well as develop new client partnerships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• A local candidate is ideal.
