Seeking an Engineering Technician to work with multi-disciplinary teams on State, Local Government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation arena.
Engineering Technicians play an essential role in the design and construction of successful, high-quality transportation projects that make a difference in people’s daily lives. They assist the Engineers, Project Managers, and Land Surveyors with drafting, design, surveying, inspection, and testing on a variety of transportation projects.
Responsibilities May Include
Computer-aided drafting and design (CADD)
Preparation of plans, drawings, and specifications for transportation projects
Inspection on construction sites to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
Materials testing on construction projects
Performing various surveying tasks
Preferred Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

A.A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology (or related field) OR related experience
Knowledge of CADD software, preferably MicroStation
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
