Civil Engineer

Selectek has an immediate need for a Civil Engineer in Peachtree Corners, GA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and estimated to go direct within 6 months of start date.

Job description:

• Design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as needed
  
  

Required:

• BS/MA in Civil Engineering
• EIT
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
• Project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job order details:

The client is looking for someone who can come in day one and be handed design projects to work on that day. The projects will be commercial, retail, hospitality, hotels, casinos, and possibly waterparks. They work a TON of hospitality projects in the United States and Caribbean.

Pay range: $34/hour - $58/hour ($70,000 - $120,000 annual salary)

Term of assignment: 6 months temp to perm

Pay method when direct: Salary

Location of job: Peachtree Corners, GA

Hours and shift: Monday - Thursday (9 hours) + Friday 4 Hours

Work from home: Yes - WFH 2 days a week and 1/2 day Fridays - Monday is a mandatory office day for everyone.

Working remote: No

Overtime expected: Possible 3-5 hours

Travel: Rare – possible travel around the United States and Caribbean.
