Your Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the engineering and design endeavors concerning site civil, stormwater drainage, industrial wastewater, and utility design projects.
- Engaging in civil design, solid waste management/landfill design, impoundments, and roadway plans and profiles.
- Engaging in troubleshooting across cross-functional teams.
- Nurturing junior-level staff and steering design teams.
- Participation in and orchestration of various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors (including Pre-bid meetings).
- Mapping out, scheduling, and executing detailed stages of design tasks.
- Our client operates as a sell/manage/do entity, hence your role will encompass marketing/sales support, project and practice management, and client project involvement as deemed appropriate.
Position Requirements for Civil Design Engineer:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Master's preferred).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil design, ideally with an Engineering consulting firm.
- Current PE licensure or the capability to obtain a PE license.
- Prior exposure to civil engineering design capacities with both municipal and industrial clienteles.
- Aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Exemplary work ethic.
- Attentiveness to detail.
- Capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in group management and mentoring.
- Regional travel is mandatory, with national travel likely for client meetings.
