Civil Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for Design & Execution Infrastructure and Industrial projects like Seamless Tube Project, Substation building, Control Room, Pump House, Conveyor line, Transfer Tower, Tunnel etc. Also, the inside road of the facility along with Parking lot

• Making Design of Column foundation against newly designed Column for our new industrial building of around 30,900 Sq. Ft.
• Making Design of machine foundations against our new purchased equipment based on given load distribution information/data/drawing from our equipment manufacturer
• Making Design of Standard Industrial floor as per industry norms of Louisiana
• Understand all Louisiana related norms for Civil engineering application
• Planning and Execution of above works as per design and drawing
• Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, reports on work progress and evaluating as per the planned schedules
• Maintaining quality standards for all structural & Civil works inside the facility during Project
• Preparation of bar bending schedule, B.O.Q, sub-contractor bills and etc.
• Checking the quality of Concrete works such as foundations, columns, beams, walls and slabs etc.
• Safety compliance to ensure during all above activities
• Preparing Construction Schedule, Sequence of work effectively to complete the project in time
• Allocation of resource, Manpower engagement effectively to ensure scheduled progress
• Monitoring works like Tying of rebar, shuttering works, casting of concrete
• Conducting Pep-Talk at Site for daily construction activities.
• Site Managing, Site Planning, Site Executing, Supplier Billings, Quality Management & Quantity Surveying.

Qualifications:

For this position generally include a high school Diploma in Civil engineering or equivalent, with further education or vocational training in a related field being beneficial. Prior experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment is also advantageous.
