Civil Engineer

Exceed Engineering is a multi-professional design firm with locations in Wills Point and Tyler Texas. We currently have one opening for a Lead Civil Engineer with 10+ years’ experience designing and managing commercial projects.

Since 2016, our company has experienced rapid growth in response to our innovative approach combining architectural, engineering and construction observation services. Our project portfolio includes K-12 Education, Municipalities, Commercial and Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a wide range of civil design including site development, municipality and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and manage small-scale through to large-scale projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw plans that satisfy technical specifications
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor junior staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status

Skills

• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional Engineering License
• BS in Civil Engineering
