Job Description

Walker Partners is searching for CAD Technicians/Designers who are proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D to work in our Waco office. Applicant will work with our teams on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, land development, water resources, transportation, and institutional projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and details for a variety of projects
• Work under the guidance of Design Engineer and Lead CAD Designer
• Coordinate with other team members
• Review record drawings and incorporate into plans
• Complete redlines for modifications of plans and details
• Adhere to CAD standards
• Strong organizational skills

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience in civil drafting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree with courses in drafting, math, and science.
• Experience with ArcGIS-based platforms
• Autodesk Certification

During the interview process, the candidate may be required to participate in a short and facilitated AutoCAD Civil 3D skills assessment.
