This is a part-time remote contract role for a CISO Consultant. The CISO Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise in information security. They will develop and implement security policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and oversee security audits and incident response. The CISO Consultant will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices
Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
Experience in incident response and security audits
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Experience in the IT consulting industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
