The Lifeway Media team is seeking a Cinematographer | Hybrid to leads the stylistic, technical and operational functions of Lifeway’s video & film shoots.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office position in the U.S with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
Responsibilities
Provides creative and technical direction for the capturing of video, audio, and electronic media projects
Acts as the Director of Photography on Lifeway shoots
Maintains specialized camera equipment, production lighting equipment and production audio equipment
Operates, maintains and prepares the Lifeway studio for product, marketing and curriculum shoots
Works with other members of the Media Team to control production equipment inventory and use
Analysis of creative concepts and scripts to create a road map for camera operations, lighting, location logistics
Contacts and leads contractors for video shoots and special projects
Contributes to other tasks assigned throughout the Media Creative team
20% - 25% travel required
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s in Fine Arts – film, communications, or related field
5 Years of experience in video production
5 years current industry camera and production equipment knowledge
3+ years current lighting and grip techniques
DIT on set services
Demonstrable track record of creative problem solving
Proven abiility to lead laterally with internal stakeholders
Experience leading contracted creative relationships
