We’re Looking For A: Cinematographer to play a pivotal role in creating high-quality video content for use in online marketing campaigns. You will work with the rest of the team to capture visually compelling footage that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our target audience. While this role is primarily focused on online marketing materials, a background in television or film production will be beneficial, as similar technical skills and creative vision are required.

Location: Hybrid (Office in Woodland Hills, CA)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Video Production: Lead the production of video content from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, on-set direction, and post-production editing.
  • Camera Operation: Utilize advanced camera techniques and equipment to capture high-quality footage that meets the standards of our brand and resonates with our target audience.
  • Lighting and Composition: Ensure proper lighting and composition to enhance the visual appeal of each shot and effectively convey the desired message.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards that align with our marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cinematography technology and techniques, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the quality of our video content.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with multiple types of camera equipment, comfortable shooting on everything from iPhone to DSLR, proficient with lighting setups, and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Creative Vision: A strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling video content.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to assume leadership responsibilities, including overseeing production teams, providing direction and guidance to crew members, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Understanding of Chain-of-Command: Appreciation for the importance of a clear chain-of-command within a production environment, including the ability to take direction from higher-ups while also effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work demonstrating proficiency in cinematography and storytelling.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills are important for this role, as you’ll be working across various teams and Story Producers.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and project requirements, in addition to changes in marketing and social media trends.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail and unleash your artistic prowess to ensure that all aspects of the production process, from camera settings to post-production editing, meet our quality standards
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years of previous experience as a cinematographer or similar role

The base salary range is $66,000.00-$88,000.00, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.

Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
