Kids N Fitness North is a licensed childcare center seeking anenergicAssistant Director! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energeticeducation expertwho is passionate about early childhood education.

To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, each candidate must be Director-qualified in the state of Illinois**(21 ECE course credits and qualifying business course) andpreviousexperience working in a licensed childcare facilityas a Lead Teacher. Associates in ECE preferred. Must be able to pass all background checks.

Required Shift:Monday - Friday, based on center needs

Compensation: $18-$20 hr.,based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process

• Resume screen
• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (60minutes)
• Virtual Interview with Regional Director (45-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities

• Program development and Teacher interaction development
• Review classroom interactions, behaviors, routines to identify development needs and provide support per CD.
• Identify training/resource needs in areas of program, sanitation, regulatory compliance with CD and provide hands on support where needed or requested.
• Assist CD with special projects and classroom environments
• Lesson Planning and Program development
• Incorporate developmental objectives into LP’s and oversee modification requests of staff.
• Integrate activities and developmental goals into Tadpole system and Daily Reports.
• Classroom Observations and Maintenance
• Conduct classroom observations as needed or requested by CD using current monthly observation forms.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
