Currently, we're searching for a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Colorado. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in-person, enabling you to effectively balance personal and professional commitments.

Job Description

As a Child and Adolescent Therapist at our center, you will:

Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to children and adolescents.

Possess essential experience working with children with ASD and ADHD.

Utilize an array of therapeutic techniques, including play therapy, art therapy, and potentially animal-assisted therapy, depending on your expertise and certifications.

Craft and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs, monitoring progress and making adjustments as required.

Maintain meticulous records of therapy sessions and client progress, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Engage in continuous professional development and training to uphold the highest standards in pediatric mental health care.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

A valid professional license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in your jurisdiction.

A master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with children and adolescents, specifically with ASD and ADHD.

Training in specialized therapeutic approaches such as play therapy, art therapy, or animal-assisted therapy (certification preferred).

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and client base.

A compassionate and patient approach to therapeutic engagement with young clients.
