The Ness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. In this role, you will provide specialized therapeutic services to young clients struggling with mental health challenges. You'll work closely with children, adolescents, and their families to support recovery and overall well-being.

Duties And Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents with mental health issues or co-occurring substance use disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide individual, group, and family therapy sessionsUtilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for youth, such as CBT, DBT, or play therapyCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and educational specialistsCoordinate care with schools, and other relevant agenciesProvide crisis intervention and support as neededMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in case conferences and treatment team meetingsEngage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in youth substance use treatment

Qualifications

Required: Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) Minimum of 2 years experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting Preferred: Additional certifications in youth-focused therapies (e.g., play therapy, art therapy)
