Compensation
LMFTs and LCSWs will be compensated at a rate between $65 - $115 per session, depending on the payer and sliding-fee scale of the client.
QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for a licensed therapist who has:
At least two years of practicum or post-licensure experience providing therapy services exclusively to children and teens
High "EQ"
Dedication to quality, evidence-based care
Goes "above and beyond" for their clients
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent phone communication skills
A commitment to continuing education with demonstrated awareness of new research and developments in the field
Lasting client relationships
In addition, applicants must meet the following minimal requirements:
California LMFT or LCSW license
Must own a laptop computer with version 2010 or newer Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have excellent writing skills
Must have excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills
Must provide contact information for three professional references with the application
SCHEDULE & CASELOAD
The incoming psychologist will have significant flexibility in their scheduling. You will receive a starting caseload of approximately 5 to 8 child and adolescent clients, depending on your availability and desired hours. If desired, you will have the option to increase your caseload in the fall when CPG receives an influx of child and adolescent referrals from local schools.
Availability for Summer Scheduling: During the summer break, child and adolescent clients typically prefer appointments earlier in the day, so most therapists see their clients somewhere between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
Availability for School-Year Scheduling: During the school year, child and adolescent clients require afternoon appointments, and therapists typically hold sessions somewhere between the hours of 2pm and 6pm.
Therapists have the *option* to schedule appointments on a weekend or after 6pm if desired.
