Luminary Group is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with expertise in Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Real-World Data (RWD) to lead the technology strategy and operations of our client. As the CTO, you will play a critical role in driving innovation, technical excellence, and digital transformation within the RWE/RWD space.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap to drive innovation and technical excellence in the RWE/RWD domain
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and services
Collaborate with the executive team to align technology initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance the company's technological capabilities
Manage and optimize technology resources, including budget, infrastructure, and vendor relationships
Ensure the security and integrity of the company's technology systems and data
Lead the development and implementation of data management and analytics strategies to maximize the value of RWE/RWD
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and driving innovation in technology solutions
Provide technical guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
Represent the company in technology-related discussions, partnerships, and client engagements
Report directly to the CEO and provide regular updates on technology strategy and performance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology roles, with a focus on healthcare and Real-World Evidence (RWE) / Real-World Data (RWD)
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing technology strategies and roadmaps
In-depth knowledge of RWE/RWD technologies, data governance, and regulatory considerations
Proven track record of driving innovation and digital transformation using emerging technologies
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop technical teams
Experience in managing technology budgets, infrastructure, and vendor relationships
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities
Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with healthcare data standards is a plus
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
