Position Title: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Remote – up to 60% Travel
Job Summary
As a key member of our executive leadership team, the Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for all aspects of our revenue-generating functions, with a primary focus on new logo sales. You and your team will develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in building high-performance sales teams, implementing effective revenue strategies, and cultivating a culture of excellence within the pharmaceutical industry.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in building high-performance sales teams, implementing effective revenue strategies, and cultivating a culture of excellence within the pharmaceutical industry.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to meet or exceed all assigned business objectives including; revenue generation, market expansion, and sales team performance.
- Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting systems to monitor and measure the effectiveness of revenue-generating activities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical distribution clients and prospects within hospitals, health systems, independent retail pharmacies, and federal state, and local governments.
- Foster a high-performance culture by setting and maintaining high standards for sales excellence and accountability.
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities within the pharmaceutical landscape, providing competitive strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with Finance, COO & CEO to develop pricing strategies and new business models for achieving revenue targets in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning.
- MBA, and advanced certifications are preferred.
- Pharmacy, healthcare, life sciences, or similar industry experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Prior experience as a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Customer Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, VP Sales, or similar commercial senior leadership role is required.
- 10+ years professional sales / sales leadership experience is required.
- 5 years experience in leading high-performing sales teams is required.
- Demonstrated success in achieving annual revenue and growth objectives is required.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills required.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels required.
