We are a leading SaaS fintech startup dedicated to providing innovative software solutions to businesses around the globe. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Chief Revenue Officer to join our executive team and drive revenue growth.


Job Summary:

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for overseeing the revenue generation processes and strategies within the company. This role includes developing and executing the company's sales, marketing, and customer success strategies to drive revenue growth and ensure the company's financial health. The CRO will work closely with other members of the executive team to align revenue strategies with overall company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive new customer acquisition and growth in existing accounts.
  • Marketing Oversight: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand awareness.
  • Customer Success: Oversee the customer success team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of revenue strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the revenue department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of revenue-generating activities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO and board of directors on revenue performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior revenue-generating role, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Early startup experience is a MUST, ideally must have taken a startup from $10M-$50M ARR
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans while also being able to execute tactically.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into revenue-driving strategies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
