Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Our client, an established property management company based in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced, dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive team. This exceptional opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to work alongside our esteemed founder and CEO, and assume the role of CEO as part of a well-planned succession strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans for the company's growth and long-term success
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's portfolio of approximately 650 high-end apartment units, primarily situated in historic buildings
• Spearhead marketing and sales initiatives to maintain high occupancy rates and attract qualified residents
• Employ data-driven decision-making and remain current with the latest technological tools to optimize business processes
• Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment
• Effectively communicate with team members, residents, and external stakeholders
• Prepare to transition into the role of CEO within a year or more, with the potential opportunity to acquire the business
  
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in leveraging technology and data to drive business decisions
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing and sales strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Property management experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as the CEO will provide comprehensive training
