Responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Strategy And Planning

  • Define the strategic direction and long-term goals in collaboration with the executive team.
  • Develop and execute operational plans to support the overall strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities and risks.

Operations Management

  • Streamline internal processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across departments and service lines.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.

Service Line Leadership

  • Provide leadership and support to service line leaders for successful growth.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate expertise across service lines to enhance client service.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster collaboration among departments to promote a cohesive working environment.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure effective technology infrastructure.

Team Leadership And Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess operational risks, developing strategies for mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement business continuity plans for uninterrupted operations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and drive successful partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience in the technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends, operational best practices, and engineering processes.
