Position Title: President & Chief Operating Officer

Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000

Bonus: Up to 40% of base salary

Our client is a well-established real estate development firm with a successful history in both commercial and residential projects. Their unique approach, driven by an owner’s mentality, ensures our projects are completed efficiently, timely, and cost-effectively.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic President & Chief Operating Officer to lead our client's strategic efforts and help achieve their long-term goals. This role requires a seasoned professional with significant experience in design-build construction, financing, land acquisition, leasing, and a proven leadership record.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve annual and long-term goals. Develop and implement the company’s vision.
  • Operational Management: Work with senior managers to develop and execute action plans. Oversee budgets, financial performance, and profit/loss responsibilities.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial relationships and funding requirements. Ensure effective financial oversight for back-office support systems.
  • Project Execution: Serve as Project Executive on major investments. Support senior leaders and mentor the Real Estate Development team.
  • Business Development: Assist in fostering new business opportunities and relationships. Supervise the Marketing Manager and prioritize projects.
  • Cultural Reinforcement: Promote and maintain company culture in collaboration with the management team and HR.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant work experience, with at least 10 years in commercial real estate.
  • Experience in commercial/industrial construction.
  • Proven track record in leadership roles such as General Manager, VP, or similar positions.
  • Demonstrated success in performance management, funding, and partnership communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High integrity and the ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
