We are currently partnered with a super exciting start-up who are in the process of closing their Series A! They specialize in Military/Public safety surveillance drones. With an industry leading product line, they have had great success in the US and recently have had huge investment from new and existing investors.

They're looking to bring onboard a COO with a real hunger and drive for operational effectiveness to align with the company’s growth plans. The Ideal candidate will have experience in high volume commercial product manufacturing, experience in overseeing growth, transition, financial reporting, operational effectiveness, and overall operational support.

You Will:

• Overseeing Daily Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, logistics, and deployment of drone technology.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Strategic Development: Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments, including R&D, sales, and marketing.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting and provide insights into operational performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that operations comply with local, national, and international regulations, particularly those related to drone usage.
• Executive Reporting: Regularly report to the CEO and board on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.

You Must Have:

• 10+ years’ experience in a senior leadership position. Ideally COO or VP operations.
• Experience in high volume commercial product manufacturing.
• Government contract negotiation experience, or of a similar background.
• Previous experience in Financial forecasting, P&L , Cash-flow, And financial presentation to board members.
• Strong experience in scaling companies through growth phases
