Job Title: Associate Chief of Staff


Location: Remote


Reports to: CEO


Term: 6 Months


Employment Status: Retained Contractor


Job Overview: The Associate Chief of Staff (ACoS) is a leadership position responsible for providing essential support to the organization's executive or senior management team. The ACoS plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication, managing projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives.

Ensure alignment and coordination of strategic priorities across the organization.

Track progress against goals and objectives, providing regular updates to the CEO.


Project Management:

Lead and manage high-impact projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against them.


Executive Support:

Act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations.

Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for important meetings.

Represent the CEO in meetings and communications as needed

Support with travel and lodging arrangements


Operational Efficiency:

Identify and address operational inefficiencies and process improvements.

Implement systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Ensure the executive office operates smoothly, managing administrative functions as necessary.


Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate effective communication between the CEO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage internal communications, ensuring transparency and alignment within the organization.


Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and support the development of the executive support team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the organization.
  • Lead by example, embodying the company’s values and mission.
