We're looking for a VP-level Chief of Staff to serve as a force multiplier for NoRedInk’s executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive the successful execution of critical cross-functional programs and projects through your impeccable attention to detail and consistent follow-through. You’ll enhance organizational efficiency and decision-making by ensuring the right processes and data are in place to inform key decisions for the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Company Operating Calendar
  • Build and maintain the schedule of board meetings, internal company events and communications, and external company events, such as conferences.
  • Board Meeting Preparation
  • Facilitate the Board Meeting preparation process.
  • Foster alignment on priorities as they pertain to the business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leaders to facilitate the completion of pre-work tasks, enabling readiness for focused discussions during the meeting.
  • Create reports and decks for internal meetings and board meetings that balance data visualization with storytelling.
  • Strategic Planning Preparation
    • Ensure highly productive quarterly strategic planning sessions by aligning priorities as they relate to the overall business strategy, partnering with our facilitator to design the meeting agenda, and preparing all relevant materials in advance of the session—partnering with executive leaders, as needed, to ensure pre-work is completed.
    • Support the executive leadership team in operationalizing key initiatives and staying aligned with the strategic vision.
    • Leadership Team Meeting Effectiveness
      • Support clear accountability during weekly executive team meetings by capturing accurate meeting minutes and ensuring clarity of the next steps.
      • Special Projects Management
        • Drive pivotal cross-functional initiatives by spearheading collaborative efforts, ensuring alignment across departments, and orchestrating the seamless execution of strategic projects to achieve organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. This will be accomplished through owning initiatives directly and enabling other executive leadership team members to achieve their initiatives.
      About You

      • Professional Background: At least 5 years in management consulting or corporate strategy. Ideally, with experience working at tech companies.
      • High Self-Efficacy: Driven, self-motivated, and gritty. Doesn’t easily lose confidence when answering questions or receiving constructive feedback.
      • Exceptional attention to detail: Approaches all tasks meticulously and consistently delivers with high quality and precision. Nothing falls through the cracks.
      • Project Management: Demonstrated experience executing large-scale, cross-functional projects and initiatives. Proven Track Record: Significant experience and high confidence in engaging with executive leaders.
      • Collaborative Vision: Adept at synergizing insights and objectives across multiple teams.
      • Entrepreneurial Drive: Naturally self-motivated with an innate ability to navigate challenges, operate independently, and meet ambitious targets within tight timelines.
      • Analytical Acumen: Data-centric with mastery in Excel and the ability to articulate data insights.
      • Strategic Leadership: Solid experience in business strategy, operations, and championing transformative changes. Proven prowess in steering high-level cross-functional planning and effective execution.

      Compensation at NoRedInk is robust and includes a full range of benefits, unlimited PTO, monthly co-working stipends, an initial home-office set-up stipend, and generous equity. Our salary ranges are based on factors such as expectations as laid out in the job description, location-specific market data, internal parity, and the experience and skills of individual candidates. Therefore, the on-target compensation range (OTE), inclusive of base and bonus, is $175,000 - 225,000, accounting for various locations and skills/expertise.
