Our client is a non-profit company that provides support and resources for other organizations. They are seeking a Chief of Staff to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$100k – $130k

Position Overview

The Chief of Staff will be responsible for the supervision of the administrative staff and will support a non-profit organization with fundraising and planning. The Chief of Staff will act as an assistant and a thought partner to the President. Executive support and supervision of other team members within the healthcare space is needed.

Responsibilities Of The Chief Of Staff

  • Determine and prioritize decisions, prepare materials, and brainstorm strategic objectives.
  • Liaise between executives and board members.
  • Schedule Zoom meetings, take minutes, and send agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for assisting with compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Draft letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Strategic planning and policy development.
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Maintain accurate confidential files and data records.
  • Supervise and direct the work of the administrative support staff.
  • Draft and track the legislation of related stakeholder groups.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of slide decks, budget materials, action alerts, and other initiatives.
  • File all required annual reports and lobbying disclosure reports.
  • Coordinate and manage annual membership events.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external communications.
  • Manage the relationship with the service provider.

Qualifications For The Chief Of Staff

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Coming out of a smaller organization.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
