Chief Medical Officer/Owner

Overview: Fast Doc, a rapidly growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical care, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Medical Officer to serve as friendly PC owner. This role involves overseeing the clinical operations, ensuring compliance with the corporate practice of medicine regulations, and leading the medical team to deliver high-quality healthcare services. As the friendly PC owner, the Chief Medical Officer will also be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the corporation.


Key Responsibilities:


Clinical Leadership:

  • Oversee the clinical operations of the medical practice, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Lead and mentor the medical team, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Stay current with medical advancements and integrate best practices into the organization's operations.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including corporate practice of medicine laws.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and quality standards.
  • Oversee credentialing and accreditation processes.

Strategic Planning and Growth:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand and enhance medical services offered by the organization.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for practice growth, including new service lines, partnerships, and patient outreach initiatives.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Patient Care and Satisfaction:

  • Provide direct patient care, maintaining a personal patient load and demonstrating excellence in clinical practice.
  • Implement patient satisfaction initiatives and address patient concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Foster a patient-centered culture, ensuring compassionate and respectful care.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure efficient and effective administrative processes, including billing, coding, and electronic health records management.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to optimize operational workflows.

Community Engagement:

  • Represent the organization by building relationships with other healthcare providers, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Promote the practice through marketing and public relations efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Active, unrestricted medical licenses to practice in 20+ states throughout the U.S.
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate practice of medicine regulations and healthcare compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and business development in a healthcare setting.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience owning or managing a medical practice.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT.
