Chief Lending Officer (Albuquerque, NM)

The Chief Lending Officer will oversee Rio Grande Credit Union's lending lines of business, including consumer, mortgage, direct, and indirect lending, as well as all operational workflows. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is an active participant in the executive management team. In this role, the Chief Lending Officer will develop and implement goals, objectives, and strategies to improve lending policies and procedures and create an environment and culture that makes members' dreams come true.

A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or equivalent work experience is preferred. A thorough comprehension of credit risk management, credit administration, loan production, and loan servicing is needed. Must have a minimum of ten years of experience in lending in the credit union or banking industry, with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning. Expertise and extensive regulatory, policy, and compliance knowledge while ensuring the lending operations are safe and sound.
