Latin GP currently operates one of the most prestigious business clubs and event management companies for the UHNW members, and represents over 600+ major North American families. We are looking to expand our successful private member business club, event management services, restaurant, spa and conference center and to build out additional luxury hotel operations, to expand additional high-end private member business clubs globally, to build out and to expand additional event and conference centers and event and concierge management services for a wider HNW / UHNW audience. We are also looking to build a private arts, spa services and fashion focused clubs focused on women members with a significant fashion and fashion retail component to it and have a great team to lead these efforts. In addition we will also be expanding into and providing wealth management, hands on business management consulting and operational services to the families as well as our expertise in helping families to take their companies public or to acquire and sell their businesses and to raise equity and debt for their holdings, as well as offering family office, PPLI insurance and other similar services. We are in the process of setting up new facilities in Miami, Madrid, LA, New York, and Dubai and are actively exploring other locations.
Latin GP is a leading investment firm focused on capturing the opportunities in the global Hispanic wealth market in the United States and globally. With a deep understanding of the Latin American and US and European Hispanic and Latin speaking UHNW markets and deal flow, we provide a range of investment services, including equity investments, credit financing, M&A, and operating services. Our expertise in wealth and asset management, along with our extensive network, allows us to discover high-quality investment opportunities. We are operating a number of funds and are planning to grow our group and to expand into a global ESG stock exchange operator, asset and fund manager and a global fund operator and a direct deal investor with a focus on working with various global foundations, UHNW families, institutional investors and corporates that operate in this space. We are also planning to open a number of private member clubs for the UHNW across the United States, Switzerland, Europe and the rest of the globe to provide them with asset management, family office and other services through a group of our subsidiaries and partners with access to an army of deal scouts, operating partners and strong deal flow from around the world that we bring to the table.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Investment Officer. As a Chief Investment Officer at Latin GP, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing investment strategies, managing investment portfolios, and overseeing the overall investment management process. You will work closely with the executive team to identify investment opportunities, conduct thorough financial analysis, and make informed investment decisions. Additionally, you will actively monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines and investment objectives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience raising and managing billions of dollars for private equity funds or hedge funds
Strong knowledge and experience in investment strategies, investment management, and portfolio management
Solid understanding of finance principles and investment principles
Demonstrated track record in making successful investments and achieving positive returns
Ability to analyze complex financial data and perform thorough due diligence
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in the Latin American market and familiarity with its investment landscape
Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
