Chief Information Officer

The QTI Group has partnered with Meritus Health to recruit and hire an experienced and innovative Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee and enhance the technology infrastructure for both their growing health system and their newly established medical school. Meritus Health is a mission-based non-profit organization committed to providing outstanding healthcare services and significant community benefits This pivotal role will be responsible for driving technological advancements and supporting the organization’s rapid growth, which includes the recent acquisitions of several ambulatory practices, new state-of-the-art surgery centers, and Brook Lane Mental Health Hospital. Candidate must relocate to Washington County, Maryland with the expectation that all senior leaders at Meritus are integral leaders within the region’s business community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Innovation and move quickly without breaking things.

• Lead and manage the comprehensive technology strategy for Meritus Health and its new medical

school.

• Oversee the integration and optimization of technology systems following recent acquisitions.

• Ensure robust support for clinical, administrative, and educational technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role within the healthcare sector.

• Strong background in managing large-scale technology projects and integrations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Experience with Epic strongly preferred. Other major systems include Oracle ERP and Canvas

LMS.
