We are seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) based in San Jose, California, to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This pivotal role ensures that HR strategies align strategically with our business plan and organizational direction, fostering growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Foster positive management and employee relations, addressing grievances and other issues.
Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
Support business needs through the development, engagement, and retention of human capital.
Oversee a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements throughout HR management.
Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CHRO or in a senior HR executive role.
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is advantageous.
