Position Overview

We are in search of an outstanding Vice President of K-12 Partnerships and Growth to lead our dynamic Business Development team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales, customer support, and marketing functions to ensure our products meet state requirements. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive daily operations, cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, and create innovative strategies to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement visionary strategic plans for achieving excellence at the state level.

Team Excellence: Lead and motivate a diverse, high-caliber team to reach their full potential.

Professional Development: Mentor team members, align their skills, and plan for career advancement.

Relationship Building: Cultivate enduring relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

Business Expansion: Identify and leverage new business opportunities through innovative strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development.

Market Insight: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Performance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to Leadership.

Alignment with Goals: Collaborate with upper management to align business development initiatives with company objectives.

Team Evolution: Manage and enhance the Business Development team, address conflicts, and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience in education or educational technology.
  • Proven success in managing external clients directly.
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-achieving teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with government contracts.
  • Background in 6-12th grade public education.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy development and implementation.
  • Startup experience.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot.
