Summary
This is a full-time, exempt position that is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Company including oversight of the Information Technology organization. The CFO works with other members of the Company’s Senior Management team to develop and implement overall corporate strategy and advise on long-term business and financial planning.

Position Responsibilities
Drives the Company’s financial planning. Manages and/or oversees the processes for financial forecasting and annual budgets.
Actively manages the cash flow of the company and prepares timely and accurate cash flow projections. Identifies and timely communicates any gaps in liquidity and partners with the CEO on initiatives to fill the gap, as applicable.
Manages or prepares financial models to drive business decisions such as costing, project and long-term strategic models.
Oversees all aspects of financial reporting including the timely filing of all required reports with the SEC including forms 10K, 10Q, 8K, S8, S3, and any other forms as required.
Works with Independent Auditors, Controller, CEO, and other corporate officers to ensure the company is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Oversight of IT includes ensuring a defined and documented strategic technology plan, outlining the role, purpose, and vision for IT.
Reviews and approves all corporate contracts.
Oversees corporate insurance programs partnering with external brokers and the Controller.
Oversees and manages Investor Relations program, as applicable, including being the primary contact for investor inquiries.
Provides leadership, direction and management of the finance, IT and accounting teams that are remote and locally based.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (required), Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum five years’ CFO, Controller, VP of Finance (but will consider candidates ready to take the next step)
Manufacturing and/or Farming experience a plus
FP&A experience
Experience with publicly traded company
Experience with SEC compliance
High level of personal integrity and professional ethics
Experience managing a remote team
Strong in effective leadership and communication
Hands-on and strong in building relationships
ERP, MS Dynamics, Jet Reports a plus
Must have a vision to continue to build the company in a responsible fashion
