Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a finance, accounting and administration professional with a solid track record demonstrating excellence, performance, growth, initiative, integrity, ambition and a can-do attitude with hands-on responsibility for the finances, accounting and administration of two of our companies.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished, reliable, entrepreneurial, hands-on and detail-oriented professional who will be responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, HR and general administration. The position is responsible for building, modernizing and managing from the ground up all areas and functions under responsibility. This role is based in San Antonio and is on-premises.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Finance / Accounting
• HR / Administration / Legal
• Vendor Management
• Compliance with government agencies
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in ERP systems
• Process improvement and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
• Experience implementing ERP systems like Quickbooks, SAP, Netsuite, Sage or similar.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Impeccable presentation and communication skills
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Strong level of integrity
• Ability to function independently as the initial sole finance and accounting professional, with ability to grow and manage a team in the near future
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude
• Solid track record of performance
• Current in office and business productivity technology
• Eager to make a difference and build companies worth building in an on-premises environment (San Antonio, Texas)
