Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
Job Summary:
This position is an integral part of the executive leadership team and is expected to participate in the financial and functional decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the company’s operational and financial goals. The Chief Financial Officer has responsibility and is accountable for overall financial operations and all aspects of the day-to-day fiscal management of the Company and will direct and oversee all the financial activities of the company and prepare financial reports and summaries.

The Chief Financial Officer has responsibility and is accountable for overall financial operations and all aspects of the day-to-day fiscal management of the Company and will direct and oversee all the financial activities of the company and prepare financial reports and summaries.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of HealthCare experience as a CFO Required
- Certified Public Accountant required.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Proven financial analysis skills.
- Experience in preparing budgets and forecasting.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems, including Excel and QuickBooks.
- Oversees Accounting Dept, Controller, Payroll, Billing and Collections.
- Responsibilities include management of all financial departments, allocation of resources, and preparation of the annual budget.
- Analyze daily operating results to ensure that revenues, expenses, and labor are within budgeted objectives; advise department heads and administration of needed changes and improvements in a timely manner.
- Establish and monitor the annual operating budget according to sound budgeting principles. Interface with Human Resources and other appropriate departments in the preparation of workforce plans and salary and benefits proposals.
- Has the lead role in analyzing, reviewing, and exploring means of reducing operating costs and increasing revenues based on knowledge and understanding of market trends, financial reports, and operating procedures.
- Prepares and presents financial reports and ensures that the reports reliably reflect the financial position of the Company.
- Evaluate the Company’s overall financial position and prepare periodic financial and operating reports. Provide consistent and accurate financial, accounting, and reporting processes throughout the company.
- Prepare financial forecasts and monitor performance versus budget; consolidate results and forecasts; and develop and implement cash management controls.
- Coordinate with other executive leadership team board members to develop major strategic and financial plans, including capital expenditure programs.
- Review, evaluate, and ensure the effectiveness of all financial and accounting systems. Direct the development and implementation of new systems, policies, and procedures as required.
- Assist in developing new business by analyzing the feasibility of new programs, including managed care contracts, and advise management of the financial prospects.
- Timely submission of all financial data associated reports required by the government and other regulated agencies, including payroll tax reports and third-party payor cost reports.
- Monitor financial information to identify trends and indicators that may impact business operations, planning, investments, and so forth.
- Present financial and operational performance with all board members and executive leaders.
- Review denials issues and trends for maximizing net reimbursement.
- Review contracts, purchase agreements, and other financial arrangements.
- Establish and maintain sound financial controls and record keeping; approve financial expenditures up to the level established by the board.
- Keeps abreast of government regulatory requirements and the rapidly changing reimbursement environment to develop and implement changes to policies and procedures as needed.
- Ensure that the financial operations of the company are carried out in an ethical, responsible manner.
- Attend promptly to the administrative details of the position, including the signing of documents, preparation of reports, completion of performance appraisals, and other employee-related actions.
