We are focused on the veterinary industry and are building and operating best-in-class small animal hospitals. Our first practice was acquired in July 2016, and our current network consists of over 40 owned practices, many of which we have significantly renovated or built new facilities for since acquisition. Position Description

We are looking to hire a seasoned and highly analytical finance leader to join our lean executive team as Chief Financial Officer. As a key member of the senior leadership, the CFO will innovate, oversee & ultimately improve key financial, strategic and accounting operations for our fast growing business. This individual will be involved in triaging new growth opportunities for the business, in collaboration with other leadership team members. The successful CFO will develop effective tools, processes and analyses to help the executive leadership team understand and evaluate business performance. Additionally he/she will be charged with the full set of responsibilities such as operational finance/accounting, capital raise (debt/equity), IR, budgeting, vendor management etc.

He/she will proactively recommend corrective actions as necessary to ensure financial targets are met. They will initiate proper actions through providing detailed, insightful analysis to support organic and inorganic scenario planning, including in-depth modeling and evaluation. The ideal candidate will be an Entrepreneurial & collaborative leader who has a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

o Oversee all operational finance and accounting functions

o Lead the development of the annual business plan and an annual budget that fully supports strategic and financial goals

o Be a strategic advisor to the leadership team and develop/track KPIs, and other critical metrics related to performance and success.

o Manage financial planning and analysis initiatives. Supervise creation of value added reporting

o Develop a full understanding of the operating agreement and oversee all shareholder return calculations

o Provide insight and recommendations on both the short-term and long-term growth strategy; participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models

o Provide a cross-departmental bridge between Operations, Strategy and the Finance organization

o Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.

o Lead capital raise (debt/equity) as well as all investor relations

o Oversee all financial operations of the business with the support of experienced finance & accounting team members

Qualifications

o 10+ years of professional experience owning the finance function at a fast growing, ideally PE backed company

o Proven leadership building and growing a team

o Experience in the healthcare sector preferred but not required
