  • Day to Day Accounting Oversight: We are a small company. Its about the fundamentals first. Getting in place great processes and building internal controls so that we can scale safely and efficiently. We have a lot of good things in place already, and at the same time, we know we need to retool just about everything in the coming years to keep up with the growth we have planned. You must be a hands-on accounting expert. You can’t think of any task as “beneath you” or something you would only delegate. All of us here roll up our sleeves. You can’t think of that as an exception either, we need someone deeply hands on now, and someone who’ll stay that way and not let go of the wheel as we grow. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but to be the right person for us, it needs to be yours.
  • Financial Leadership & Strategy: We’re looking for a seasoned financial leader to help us architect rapid growth on a global scale including a heavy level of planned M&A activity on both buy and sell side.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, comparing financial plans to actual results and recommending corrective actions as needed.

We play this game to win and cash is the primary day to day metric that all businesses need to obsess over. You will own this and drive the whole company hard to think about cash conversion cycles, optimizing cash efficiency with deal structure, and forecasting on a high frequency basis with deep process accountability across the enterprise.
  • M&A Support: Lead the financial efforts for M&A activity within our portfolio, including preparing for exits, managing data rooms, and working with outside investment banks. Support acquisitions as needed when strategically interesting opportunities arise.

Explore and experiment with AI tools and process enhancements to more efficiently deliver on recurring tasks and projects.

Of particular note, the Blue Cypress Operating System (BCos) is our comprehensive system for strategy and execution. It is based on the principles of Scaling Up, EOS and the work of Jim Collins.
