Position Overview

Amogy is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our Finance team. Partnering with the CEO, the CFO will play a pivotal role in driving our financial vision and strategy, ensuring the optimization of our financial resources and capital to achieve our business objectives. This role can be based in Houston, TX or Brooklyn, NY.

Must Have Requirements

• Multiple rounds of Equity Financing experience as a CFO or Head of Finance
• Amounts ranging from $25mm - $100mm+
• Amounts over $100mm are a PLUS
• Experience with Venture Capital, Strategics, and Private Equity
• Startup Experience
• Experience with physical products is a PLUS
  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with our growth objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities to provide accurate and timely insights for decision-making.
• Oversee investor relations, communication, and engagement, establishing a transparent and trust-based relationship with stakeholders to secure continued funding and support.
• Drive the development and implementation of financial KPIs and performance metrics to assess the company's financial health and progress toward strategic goals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• A strong controlling function is already in place
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA/Masters/CPA a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong track record of successfully growing companies within their early stages of commercialization.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence at all organizational levels.
• Forward-thinking mindset, adaptable to changing market conditions and business priorities.
