THE CULTURE The culture emphasizes collaboration and capability, seeking an executive with the finesse to implement complex strategic initiatives before a sale. They avoid micromanagement, preferring only one brief weekly call to discuss KPIs and quarterly board meetings. Completed exit of the focus business in 2025. Separated the core focus business from the additional 3 businesses included in the initial roll-up. Achieved growth in size and EBITDA through organic expansion. Presented a strong financial business case for the sale of the business & liaised with investment banks. THE ROLE The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks: Executing business split for the exit process. Capability to effectively represent the business to investment banks & potential buyers. Lead organic growth efforts for the business. Provide strategic leadership to the C-level team, currently a first-time CFO in seat so may need support at this complexity level KEY SELLING POINTS OF THE ROLE The opportunity to lead a business to an exit. Level of complexity in splitting the business & exiting, can highlight a high-level skillset for future opportunities. PE firm is reputable and invests heavily in the manufacturing sector. YOUR BACKGROUND The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: Essential exit experience, encompassing PE, strategic buyer, or IPO scenarios. Proven track record in managing a business of comparable size ($85Mn) during exit processes. Exit expertise includes prior collaboration with investment banks for business sales and adeptness in portraying a compelling financial narrative to potential buyers. Demonstrated ability to foster organic growth within the Building Products sector. Financial acumen and sophistication to properly present the business to intermediaries and potential buyers.
