Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Chief Editor at Atomic Academia (Å). The Chief Editor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the editing process for all published content. This includes reviewing and providing feedback on articles, ensuring clarity and accuracy, and maintaining editorial standards.
The Chief Editor will also collaborate with authors and the team to develop content strategies and ensure timely publication. The publication is annual with monthly preprints.
Requirements
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to maintain editorial standards
Experience in academic or educational publishing
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency in using editing software and tools
Knowledge of academic writing styles and citation formats
Experience in project management and leadership roles
Passion for education and knowledge dissemination
Background in academia or related field
