About the Company: My client is a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing and service of industrial pumps and related systems. With a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation, they serve a diverse range of industries including oil and gas, power generation, chemical processing, and water treatment. As they continue to expand their market presence and drive strategic growth, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join their executive team.
Position Overview: The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the commercial strategy and leading all sales, marketing, and business development efforts. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the industrial manufacturing sector, exceptional strategic acumen, and a proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead and manage the global sales and marketing teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new markets, product lines, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and finance to ensure alignment and support of commercial initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial terms to ensure profitability and competitive advantage.
- Implement robust performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the industrial manufacturing sector, preferably with experience in pumps, valves, or related equipment.
- Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across diverse geographies.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Proven experience in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and business development.
- Willingness to travel globally as required.
