Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and spearhead contract development and management.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional programs to drive sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the organization's value proposition to potential partners and clients.
  • Oversee the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses related to business development activities.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization's overall strategic plan.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior business development or executive leadership role.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional negotiation and networking abilities with a focus on relationship building.
  • Expertise in conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Advanced financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the California market and regulatory environment.
