Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Direct all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and reports.
• Tax Strategy and Compliance: Coordinate with external CPAs to optimize tax strategies and compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Process Enhancement: Spearhead initiatives to refine internal controls and enhance financial procedures, using technology to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Oversight: Manage comprehensive corporate and project-level financial audits, and develop insightful executive reports to guide corporate strategy.
• Team Development: Cultivate a dynamic team environment, promoting growth and excellence within the accounting department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Expertise: 10+ years of robust experience in real estate accounting, augmented by a Master’s degree in Accounting and a CPA designation. Big 4 public accounting experience strongly desired.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams, with a proven track record of managing complex accounting functions effectively.
• Innovation: A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying improvements and implementing new processes that enhance business operations.
• Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong relationships across various levels of an organization.
