Chicas Program Coordinator

As part of Adelante Mujeres' Education team, the Chicas Program Coordinator designs and leads best practices, policies and procedures that support an employee-oriented, community-centered and culturally responsive organization. The Chicas Program Coordinator is a creative, hands on, collaborator in our Chicas Youth Development Program. They will be inspired by and fully committed to the Adelante Mujeres mission and vision. This role will be responsible for supervising Chicas Youth Advocate & Project Developers and Chicas Youth Advocate Assistants. They will attend events and activities on behalf of the Program Manager or the organization and contribute to a collegial and productive work environment. The Chicas Program Coordinator promotes youth safety, growth, and leadership. The Chicas Program Coordinator reports to the Chicas Program Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, manages, and coaches Youth Advocates and Youth Advocate Assistants to ensure best practices, along with age appropriate, bilingual, and culturally appropriate curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Supports the strategic visioning and oversight of day-to-day program operations and program policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the delivery of culturally responsive programing that produces measurable results across three school districts in Washington County.
  • Fosters community partnerships via committees, meetings with funders, and state level advocacy.
  • In collaboration with the Grants Team, gathers comprehensive program data and crafts grant reports that effectively capture and communicate the impact and outcomes of the program.

  • Strong commitment to the mission of the organization, environmental sustainability, employee well-being, and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people, including excellent verbal and written communication
  • Associate degree or higher in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or strongly related field
  • Minimum three years' experience working with Latine families
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English
  • High attention to detail, strong time management and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven experience in leading projects and group work, demonstrating the ability to effectively guide teams towards successful project outcomes
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience

Additional Requirements

  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical accommodation

  • Possess current driver's license and auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range: $56K - $60K annually, depending on qualifications
  • Classification: Full-time, exempt
  • Telework: up to 3 days a week
