Charter School Outreach Director

Position reports to: ADAC’s President
Classification: independent contractor (1099); possibility of eventual full-time (W-2) employment
Time-frame: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025 (up to 40 hours/month), with the possibility of contract renewal or (as noted) transition into a full-time, W-2 position in the summer of 2025
Compensation: negotiable
Position Summary: The Outreach Director is responsible for (1) identifying, cultivating, and pursuing for ADAC market opportunities among charter schools and (2) successfully developing with charter schools and regional and/or national charter school networks partnerships.
Responsibilities:
develop, in strategic collaboration with ADAC’s President, up-to-date prospect target list(s);
provide to ADAC’s executive team general and prospect-specific advice about the particular educational needs of charter school educators and the specific ways in which ADAC could strategically respond to and effectively meet those needs;
execute effective outreach to and cultivation of targeted charter school prospects by (1) qualifying prospects, (2) arranging and/or attending between qualified prospects and ADAC’s executive team business development meetings, and (3) assisting ADAC’s executive team with both (a) generating, based on these meetings and other prospect-facing communications, responsive quotes/proposals and (b) “closing” on new partnerships with charter schools;
provide to ADAC’s President regular updates on the preceding activities;
represent, market, and otherwise be the “face” of ADAC at sales generation events/opportunities; and
fulfill, at the request of the President, additional duties.
Qualifications/requirements:
3-5 years in Charter School leadership
Minimum of a Master’s degree, preferably in the field of education
Ability to occasionally travel overnight
